how to fix no bootable device...plz help!

hi..

my computer wont boot pls help me to solve that.

when I turn on my laptop i seeing this meesage:

NO bootable device-strike f1 to retry boot-f2 for setup utility and press f5 to turn onboard diagnostics.

what should I do?

how i can fix this problem?

dell model:inspiron 1545

dell model no:1545-9534

plz help

Hi Mamadsouri,

Please boot to the BIOS and see if your hard drive is present. If not, remove and re-seat your hard drive, then check the BIOS again.

Im have the same issue with no bootable devices. I have a Studio 1735. I have removed the HDD and reseated it and this have the problem.

In the bois it displays the HDD and cd/dvd drive. On boot up I press F12 and choose boot from cd/dvd but it does not read the dell recovery disk to reinstall windows.

i did it but its not solve

and i doesnt read the dell recovery and windows installation

what shoul i do?

Hi mamadsouri,

You need to replace your hard drive. You cannot reinstall Windows onto a defective drive.
