You will need to buy a SATA data cable, there should be a spare SATA power connector inside the case for a second optical drive.

The Inspiron 570 Service Manual is HERE

After installing DVD drive, check the System Setup to see if the drive is recognized.

It appears the Inspiron 570 Service Manual does not have the details for installing a second optical drive, but as the Inspiron 530 Mini Tower has the same chassis, the same instructions can be used for the physical installation, they can be found HERE

NOTE: You need a SATA drive, as the 570 does not support IDE drives.
