We need more information. There are many reasons why recorded CDs can not be read correctly. What kind of CD drive do you have? Does the disc read on another computer? Do you know what kind of file system (CDFS, UDF) the disc has and is it properly finalized? Do other recorded discs read fine in your laptop.
