"Secondary hard drive 0 not found"

I can see that many people have this problem and get the message "Secondary hard drive 0 not found" when booting. So do I.

1) I have a CPi D266XT and a CPi D300XT and the same happens when I put the CD-rom in. When I put the DVD module in it works perfectly on both. Is there anything wrong with the CD-rom module? It used to work fine. An orage light lights up at the front (when normally it is a green light) I have tried to download drivers and I have checked the BIOS.

2) I bought another CD-rom module that came from an CPi A-series latitude. That does not work either in any of my computors. It does not eject but it runs and can be seen. It clicks three times when I try to open it. I have to open it by hand though. Is it  something wrong with the module or is it not compatiable with the CPi D-series?

I have spent hours trying to troubleshoot. Can someone help, please!!
