targeted read test and SMART short self test fail
i bought xps 17 in jan this year. my laptop is still under warranty but problem is i can not claim warranty as i am outside US and this system was bought from US. when i run pc check up after scan targeted read test and SMART short self test fail and this error is in the second hdd. plz help me to resolve these issues.

how can i claim warranty sa im in pakistan. do i have to send laptop to US or just the hdd can be sent ? and also can i claim warranty in Pakistan?

If the system was purchased in the US, then warranty repair is US-only. Since Dell doesn't have an official presence in Pakistan, transfer of warranty probably is not possible.
The cost of a drive will be far less than shipping the system to the US -- you may just want to replace the drive yourself.
