Avamar report??
So my backup team has a very strange request for me.
They would like to know if SRM can report on Hosts directly. What was asked is to get the total storage available to a host and how much of that space Avamar is backing up. Let me know if there is anything i can do to help them out..

Hi Jose:
Reports for Avamar can be found in the Data Protection Advisor Solution Pack.
Major reports include:
Main reports
Replication: RPO Compliance, Alerts, Capacity
EMC Data Domain: Configuration, Performance, Replication
EMC Avamar: Inventory, BackupSummary, RestoreSummary
Symantec NetBackup: Inventory, BackupSummary, RestoreSummary
As far as total storage available to a host you could get that report off the Physical Hosts solution pack

As Tim mentioned, Avamar reports can be found in the Data Protection Advisor (DPA) Solution Pack.
I am pretty sure you have to have a license for DPA in addition to the license for the solution pack, however.
