I cannot repair or backup my files on SupportAssist OS Recovery
I have an Inspiron 13 7000. My trouble began after I tried to restore my computer to a date before a Windows update took place. Now I'm unable to boot into windows. Restoring my laptop to factory settings is the last thing I would like to do, so I wanted to see if I could repair through Support Assist. When I try to do that however it tells me "repair services are unavailable because your operating system is encrypted." I also get the same message when I try to click on back up files. Is there any way I could possibly repair my laptop without needing to restore my system? Thank you!

Same problem. Dell Inspiron 3000. Encryption preventing me from recovering files and I can't repair or boot windows. Can't even enter Safe Mode.
