Support Assist Hardware Scan that causes Windows to go into Recovery mode

I have an Inspiron 2 in 1  7506 mand am thinking of returning it because the Dell techs can't fix my issue.  First, Support Assist, On-Board Diagnostics runs a Hardware Scan when computer is in sleep mode.   It comes up in a white screen that says "Success.  Hardware scan complete with no issues." Right below is a blue button that says "continue."  I press it and then the Windows recovery mode comes up.  This has happened several times a day. I only have a hardware scan in the program to run once a week and when it runs it runs in the program not in a recovery environment.   First I read some someone that had had this problem and put the bios in Audit mode in Secure Mode.  This kept if from happening a few days and then it started happening every day again.  After speaking with dell, they cleaned up windows but this didn't solve it.  Next they want to reinstall windows, because they think windows is corrupt.   Clearly the problem is with support assist and they won't address it.  I uninstalled support assist and so far so good.  I would like a solution to this problem from Dell so I don't have to return my computer and go without a program that keeps my computer running smoothly.   I have 3 more days until I can't return my computer anymore.  Please help.thx!
