T7810 no display after bios update

Looking for any advice on how to troubleshoot a GPU that will only display the bios, but not display when booting.  The system is currently running Ubuntu.  I updated the bios from A12 to A34 and now the systems display only works when in the bios.  This system does not have an internal GPU and I have tried multiple graphics cards with the same behavior on both.  Note:  This is a used PC that I want to convert to Windows.  I'm OK with wiping the hard drives to get the system operational.  At this point I have the windows installer on a USB stick, but cannot see the display to get thru the setup.
