How To configure IP address to DMX 3
Hi all,
I know this is silly and basic query but I am facing problem .
I tried to configure IP address to DMX in order to access through VPN. The step i followed:
1) Selected My Network and Right Click
2) selected Properties then TCP/IP Configuration
3) Selected properties
4) Entered IP,Default Gatway and Subnet.
I am using service processor which is contected to DMX.
After having done this I have rebooted to SP. Then try to ping to DMX but it did not answer.
Moreover, Same IP i have conigured with same cable and it is working. Not sure why it is not working for DMX,
Could you please help me? I wan to access DMX remotely.
Thanks in advance.
DK

It depends on your specific configuration as far as Network, firewall and infrustructure. Configuring information is needed from the DMX Service Processor to match your information too. Since you mention VPN access, there may be something that your specific VPN method is looking for or comparing that is not matching up. With that, we recommend that you open a Service Request so your local team can assist you in your configuration and application?
This is a great question for remote access by Customers that want to set up Network access instead of modem access.
Best regards,
Michael
