Oracle Backup With BCV

Hi,

Below are the Steps to backup the Oracle,

a,Establish BCV to the R2 Device

b. Place the Oracle Tablespace in Hotbackup mode

c. symrdf checkpoint comand

d. split BCV

e. take the table space out of hotbackup mode

f. force the DB to archive the Redolog files

What is the correct sequence of this. Could some guide here. We need this to be streamlined asap.
