Reporting Tools
Does anyoone know of any reporting/performance tools for all various kinds of EMC storage devices? VMAX, CX4, VG8 etc. I'm looking for a tool that will give us reporting on storage, allocated, free, as well as FAST and storage performance. Either EMC tool or NON emc tool. Any help would be appreciated.

EMC Control Center comes to mind. There are platform specific tools that can you give performance information, not much reporting. (SPA/SMC for Symmetrix and Unisphere Analyzer for CX/VNX)

Thanks for the reply. We have all that in house, but I'm new to EMC storage, so I need to learn how to use them all. I was looking to see if there was one tool out that would cover all various storage models. So use one tool rather than many. Solar Winds Storage Profiler covers some of it, but they don't support FASTVP yet, so I would need something that supports FAST.

Yes we have control Center version 6.1 UB7, trying to get that updated...
I know there is so much built into ECC, but I need to find a way to learn them all... and the 5 day class for ECC talks mostly about allocating storage for vmax and clariion using ECC, which is useless to me, I want to learn other features and functions of ECC.
