SMC and SNMP traps
Hello All,
I have to monitor two Symmetrix arrays which are connected to mainframe system.
I don't have ECC only Symmetrix Management Cosole.
We are implementing at customer site one consolidated monitoring platform and connecting all systems like HP OM, IBM Omnibus and so on.
And my question is the SMC can send SNMP traps to manager server?
I am searching some documents and what I found is only inline help for SMC. And there is nothing about SNMP traps or something like that.

HI,
SMC is still not capable of sending alerts, you can use the storevent daemon for sending the SNMP traps to either syslog server or to an email server. I think solution installation guide has more information on setting up this.
