SYMCLI Client setup not working.
Have setup the SYMCLI Client, set the ENV variables, and updated the netcfng file.
When I issue the command # symcfg list
It takes a long time, and then returns the below error.
[root@uxadmin01 config]# symcfg list
A remote send or receive operation failed
[root@uxadmin01 config]#
My SE Client and Server both run Solutions Enabler 7.5.0.7
Need a lill help from folks...if someone has set this up, and has it working.

Please consider moving this question as-is (no need to recreate) to the proper forum for maximum visibility. Questions written to the users' own "Discussions" space don't get the same amount of attention and questions can go unanswered for a long time.
You can do so by selecting "Move" under ACTIONS along the upper-right. Then search for and select: "Symmetrix Support Forum" which would be the most relevant for this question.
Seeing though that over 1 month has elapsed since you posted, maybe you have already found the answer (possibly opened up a ticket with support)? If so, once relocated, consider sharing the resolution and also marking the question as "Answered" so that it can help others that have the same question. If not, once relocated, it will then have more visibility by the community of dedicated customers, partners, and EMC employees that are eager to assist.

Hello,
Can you check the below:
1. Commands from server is working fine and there are sufficient GK's from each array (atleast 6 per array).
2. Make sure STORSRVD is running on the server. Run stordaemon list to check running daemons.
3. Both SYMCLI_CONNECT and SYMCLI_CONNECT_TYPE environment variables are set on the client pointing to the correct server as mentioned in the netcnfg file in the client. Confirm this by running symcli -def command.

Have you mapped any gatekeepers to this machine? What syminq shows?
