You mean alerts that show up in SMC?

I would like to attempt to clear the last 100 alert, nothing specific.

To clear an alert in SMC: Select one or more alerts (use the Shift/Ctrl keys to select multiple alerts), right-click and select Alerts Clear to open the Clear Alerts dialog box

Is there any way to take backup of all alerts before clear? How we can get this same alert to monitor using symcli.

I check symevent not showing the same alert which appear in SMC GUI console

I think symevent is more synonymous with ECC alerts. You may not find the exact synergy between the SymCLi alerts and the SMC alerts.

I feel you my be correct, I have not been able to track down any means for deleting the alerts through CLI.

Hi,

You would not be able to delete SMC generated alerts using command line. Both work in conjunction with each other but you cannot do this so called deleting of alerts cross functionally.
Command line works on settings from the daemon_options or options file, but the SMC alert configuration is stored in its install location as xml format. We would not be able to delete or modify using command line. Also, as listed earlier, symevent will not necessarily list same as SMC.

Thanks!

Roshan Raju.
