cloning with virtual provisioning
Do the same rules apply to thin/virtual devices when it comes to cloning. I've got a set of production meta devices, 14 devices total making up a 1Tb veritas disk group. Can someone please confirm if I need to create thin devs in my storage pool to match the exact size of the production standard devices, just like you must do with standard/BCV devices that will be the target of the clone? Thanks in advance for any help.

yes u need to make the exact size of the source devices for performing cloning.
if prouduction devices is formed as meta then u r cloning also need to be in the same way
