emc odm, powerpath install,configuration in AIX VIO servers for VMAX attachment

please someone can update/correct these steps for preparing a AIX VIOs servers for VMAX attachment. Also any special care to take about IBM flashcopied LUNs/disks.

• installed EMC ODM definitions on VIO servers
  
• Install and configure PowerPath
  

1. Installed PowerPath
   
2. Register/license the PowerPath with the available license keys with emcpreg –install
   
3. Validate the registration with powermt check_registration
   
4. if powermt display options shows
   

IBM array as managed then,

Then UnManage the third-party arrays (IBM), by

powermt unmanage class=ess

1. Now Verify that,  powermt display options should show “ESS status as unmanaged” 
   
2. Initialize the PowerPath hdiskpower devices and make them available to the host.
   

With command powermt config.

Current environment has, IBM flashcopy, for copying the source luns. once the luns are flashed/copied are assigned to the VIO servers for testing/backup or something.
