2161-DS2 and Dell Remote Console Switch Software
Recently upgraded the firmware on our 2161-DS2 KVM switch to the latest available. Since then I'm not able to launch the monitor on any servers via the Dell Remote Console Switch Software. I can see the switch and all the servers connected, but if I try to launch the monitor for any server, nothing happens. Have used the web interface with limited success, often get a network error. Never had issues until updating the firmware. Not a lot of support on available on this, so any help appreciated. Even tried reverting back to old firmware versions and no matter which one I tried, same result. Installed the software on different systems as well to see if it was maybe OS related, but Windows 8, Windows 2012, Windows 2008, Windows 2003, all do the same.

It sounds like the 2161-ds2 and the switch aren't on the exact same settings in regards to Speed and Duplex. With the 2161-DS2 they both have to match exactly.
Let me know what you find.
