Hi Jay.
Not sure why you would start getting this after it had been working...
Can you be sure the Altiris host service is running. Perhaps try to restart it(?)
Thanks,
Rob

Rob,
I am getting the same error on the same section. The night before last I was succesful at deploying a few hundred systems. Last night I setup or tired to setup another OU to push to at 5am. However, it kept telling me that I must have a resouce in order to save. I had a resource selected and each time I hit save at the bottom it wouldn't mark that resouce with the time that it would intsall. When I would navigate to another window it would tell me that I am leave without saving. The next time I went back to that window I am now having the above metioned issues. I have stopped and started all services.. I have rebooted.... on my event logs I have the same errors over and over now.... the first an EventEngine Error and the other an ASP.NET error.
Getting a little frustrated. Altiris won't support this product and when I call Dell support 99.9% of the time they don't have a solution or not sure how to support DMC.

Hi Kristopher, sorry you are running into trouble here...let's have a look.
First, I'm not entirely clear on your post. So let me reset a bit:
1. You have DMC installed
2. You have been able to push out the Altiris agent in some cases
Correct on 1&2 ?
Do you have OMSA on any of your PowerEdge servers?
And lastly, if I understand, you are saying that when you go to the Altiris agent push screen, you are getting an error trying to deploy the agent to members of your new OU. Is that right?
Sorry, just need a bit of clarity.
Thanks,
Rob

Oh, yeah, one more item. We may want to move this to the DMC specific forum.
http://en.community.dell.com/groups/dell_management_console/forum/default.aspx
Or maybe for future postings...
Thanks!

Ok,
Are you using .Net 3.5 or .Net 3.5 + SP1.
Thanks,
Rob

If I had to rebuild this server using same host name and same ip. Will the clients out on the network still talk to it later?

It is just .NET 3.5 no service pack 1. I made that mistake once and had to uninstall everything. I don't run into any issue on any other web part except the Altiris Install, which right now is the most important....
