DMC Network Discovery doesn't

I've installed DMC 1.01 on a dedicated 2850 in our test environment, checked the connection profile, and created and run a discovery task. However, the task says that it completed successfully but no devices are found, not even the server running the task. I tried both running the discovery as a custom range and subnet mask and and as ARP to the router for the subnet. Both discoveries ran for a couple of minutes and completed successfully without discovering anything. The test environment is a single subnet.

ps. I couldn't find how to post this msg in the Dell Management Console forum, as that forum doesn't show as one of the available choices when choosing a forum in which to start a discussion.

There is an issue with .net v3.5 SP1.  If you have it remove it, and try the discovery task again.

I uninstalled .net 3.5 sp1 from the server and rebooted it. Ran another discovery which completed successfully but going to Manage / All devices in the console still showed no devices discovered. I then turned on discovery logging, created a discovery task to do discovery on a single IP address (the DC for this test domain), and ran the discovery. I can see in the log that it finds the server, but there are still no devices appearing in the console. Here is the log:

Be sure to look in Manage | All Devices | Servers.

Is there anything there?  Did the discover task result detail indicate that any devices were discovered?

Can you try this test utility to see if SNMP is set up ok on your target device?
