DSDP 3.0 - CM 2012 R2 CU3 - Import Driver Packages Fail - Root element is missing
Hi,
I have a ConfigMan 2012 R2 environment where I have integrated the Dell Server Deployment Pack 3.0. The installation succeeded and I have been able to also run the Dell System Integration using the DTK 4.4.
However, when I try to Import Dell Drivers, I get an error in the wizard:
I have tried multiple OM DVD's each one produces the same results:
OM_SMTD_801_A00.iso
OM_SMTD_802_A00.iso
OM_SMTD_740_A00.iso

Are you running the SCCM after launching it as Administrator ? also please post the logs from Import Dell servers.

Yes.. of course.. launching as Administrator. -- though, this launching as Administrator seems to be a bug. Why would you have to do this for performing CM administration?? But I have tried both ways (launching as Admin and normal CM user) both show the same error.
What log specifically do you want posted?

I am looking for following files

Those log files do not exist on my machine. There are other logs..but the date stamps are older the ones in this path are not getting updates when I try to run the import.
My system is 64 bit and the install path is:
D:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\AdminConsole\XmlStorage\Extensions\bin\Deployment\Dell\PowerEdge
The logs that appear to update after I run the Dell import have already been posted to this forum above.

After working with Dell, the issue was that the ISO file I used was corrupt. After re-downloading the Secure System Management DVd, the issue was resolved.
