DSDP 3 - Strange issue with drivers (apply Driver package)
Hi,
After successfully importing DPDP OM7.4.0 for M620 and R720 in CM2012 R2, I'm getting blue screens after the first reboot In my task sequence.
I've noticed in the _SMSTS... dir, and then the packages subdir, I only see ONE driver from the driver package download. Normally, I would see all drivers - - like 23 of them download.
Has anyone else every seen a problem like this one? or know how to troubleshoot it?
I've already tried to delete the driver packages, and recreate/import them.

Hi,
I tried to completely, delete the drivers and driver packages, and then uninstall the DSDP 3.0 tool. I then reinstalled the DSDP tool on the CAS and retried the import. I've noticed that different driver packages are now short subfolders and others that were not working are now working.
Yet, when I look at Content Manger in SCCM 2012 R2, I only see one subfolder:
When I look at DP distribution Status for this package, it looks like it completed 100% successful:
For some reason, the DP thinks it has all of the contents for the driver package but only one folder is being replicated to the DP's? Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?

I have seen this too. Look at my blog post below and look at the end *******Note Here******. You can try to redistribute the package again and that should refresh it and all of the drivers should be on the DP after that. http://bradsjumpbag.blogspot.com/2014/08/how-to-clean-out-old-openmanage-driver.html

This Update DP process seems to be helping. Do you have any idea why this happens? I'm working with about 15 Server Driver Packages... and about 6 of them had only 1 subfolder distributed (although the DP update status showed successful).
So far I have been able to fix about 4 of them using the refresh technique. My OM versions are: 7.4.0, 8.0.1 and 8.0.2.

Responding a little late to this one but wanted to provide some closure on this issue. The problem was a checkbox that had not been marked correctly. Since it is not considered a major issue and has a work-around (Update DPs a 2nd time) the fix will be in the next version of DSDP.
