Dell Open Manage Essentials -- Discovery using IPMI

I'm trying to setup Dell Open Manage Essentials for our Dell Servers. 

I don't want to use SNMP to discover devices & would instead prefer using IPMI as I have IPMI enabled on all Servers. We also use iDRAC on all our Servers.

Problem:

If i provide a single IP in the include range along with correct IPMI credentials, then the host is discovered & correct inventory is performed. But if i provide a range of Ips ( a /24 for eg) along with the correct IPMI credentials, no host is discovered.

I'm not sure what wrong I'm doing or If I'm missing anything.. Can somebody help?
