Dell PowerEdge 2950 not switching on

Hi Guys

Server has orange light flashing at the back and its not switching on. Both power supplies have green lights. It worked perfectly fine, switched the server off for about a week as was not used. Now it does not want to switch on. I just noticed now on the front LCD Screen when trying to boot it gives an E122C CPU Error - One CPU installed

Have you tried the server at the minimum to POST configuration? I would take the server down to that configuration to see if the behavior changes. If it does, you can add components back in 1 at a time to try to get an idea if something is causing that error to populate and prevent it from turning on. This error is being reported by the CPU, so I wouldn't immediately rule out the processor socket on the board, or the processor itself. 

Minimum to POST configuration:

•System board 
•Processor (with heatsink) in socket 1
•Two sticks of memory in memory slots 1 and 2
•1 power supply 
•Control panel (to turn on system) 
•Sideplane
•Both PCI risers; PCI-e in center slot, (PCI-e or PCI-X) in left slot
