Hello

What is the server model? Are you able to access the iDRAC web interface via browser with the same credentials on the computer you are running DRM from?

Thanks

Hi

Its an R730 server, yeah Iam  able to access the iDRAC interface via browser with the same credentials as when I try to connect via the DRM.

The thing are that when I enter an non valid IP and non valid credentials in the "Provide the host details to access Dell iDRAC" window and click on connect the error window pops up about the same interval as when I enter valid  IP and valid credentials to the iDRAC interface.

So seems to me something internally in the appliction more error wise.

Tobad this dosen't help me at all.
I have checked proxy settings on my systems if it could affect it, but I doubt since it is only the inventory from iDRAC that dosent work.

I tryied againt another HP Server a T620 and got the same error so it points aswell  in the direction something are strange with the application as I already suspect.

Hi

We have the same problem here. We are able to access the iDRAC interface via browser but get a connection error when using the Dell Repository Manager.

Dell Repository Manager version: 2.2.3.628
Server model: R730xd

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi

To bad not

According to Dell it works for them.

Very strange.

They have bootable images created by their own here.

But it contains alot of drivers you dont need.

The advantage of createing from iDRAC is that you create drivers image for the devices you  have on your server

So for you it are https://dell.app.box.com/v/BootableR730xd

I am facing the same issue. I can't get the DRM to connect to any iDRAC. There is nothing in the logs.
