IT Assistant - DMI/CMI/DCOM questions
Hi,
I have a bunch of Dell desktops and workstations. They are all in the same domain.
I can only see 5 desktops and 4 workstations through IT Assistant. When I look in the "Details" tab, they confirm they are using DMI.
Why can't I see the other desktops/workstations?
Also, should I enable CIM and DCOM in ConfigServices.exe? If yes, do I use a domain username/password which has rights on all the desktops and workstations?
I would prefer not having to enable SNMP on all the desktops/workstations if this can be avoided.

To setup discovery of client systems, you will need to install OMCI. Take a look at this post.
