Integration of Cisco Switches with IT Assistant
Hello everybody,
we set up IT Assistant last week and want to integrate our cisco switches now.
We already find them, but they seem to be classified as "unrecognized" device.
How can I make IT Assistant
- check they're online
- retrieve some information like processor load, and others
- how can I integrate the Cisco MIBs to IT Assistant?
Other vendors integrate Cisco switches by default....
Best regards,
Uwe

It's more specific around third party server management with ITA, but the link to the Power Solutions article has some good information on MIB importing into ITA that might get you what is needed for the Cisco switch management.
Hope that helps.

Until now I didn't succeed in registrating cisco switches, but I found there is a new version of the software, the DMC 3.0, so I'll start over with this one.
