This adapter does not have a Dell part number. We bought it separately from the servers.
We found out that after upgrading the Intel NIC FW to the latest level at NVM v4.20, we could no longer use "racadm hwinventory nic" or "racadm get nic" in our scripts to get the hardware data. Previously we used NVM v3.20 and v2.40 with racadm without any issues.
What's more interesting is that we can still see the Intel NIC in the System Setup=>Device Settings and be able to configure it normally. It seems right now only the racadm is having issues with the Intel NIC. Is there any other racadm command or Dell software that we can use to get the hardware data on the NIC adapter?
Yes, I can still see the NIC with just the 'racadm hwinventory' command but it's not very useful for me because I cannot use 'racadm set nic' to make any NIC configurations without booting the remote server to the OS. I have no issues using racadm with NIC FW v3.20.
Is there any other racadm command that I can use to configure the NIC?
Hello I'm afraid I have no knowledge on matters that involves a non Dell part. We can certainly wait to see if other contributors have had the same experience and give you some advice. Sorry I can't be of help this time. Wish you a good one.

Hello if this is a Dell part, can we have the part# please?
Also is this something that’s newly plugged in?

Hello r650ic,
It could be the non-Dell firmware the racadm is not communicating with.
Do you have the ability to roll back to NVM v3.20 and see if that still works?
If it does, it may be a firmware incompatibility with racadm and the new Intel firmware.
If you log into the DRAC; do you see the Intel NIC in the Hardware Inventory?
Do you see the Intel NIC if you pull the hardware inventory?
