On-site server for Video Security System

Hi My employer is looking to create a bespoke CCTV (video security system) in a few of our factories and I’ve been asked to do some digging around the best storage / server for the proposed architecture before we start looking into this in more. I’ve narrowed me research down to just a few providers who I think would meet all of our objectives, including Dell, but wondered if someone could help me with a few queries I have? In a word, we need a recording HDD-based RAID server on site (I’ve been advised that c. 64TB will be sufficient?). We will also use AxxonSoft VSM (management) and VCA (analytics). I was looking at VNX-VSS 100 (or something similar). Has anyone tried this before – any recommendations? Many thanks in advance. PS. This is not really my area of expertise so it is quite fair to say that I know very little about all this stuff. PSS. Really, any advice would be much appreciated!
