PowerEdge T430 - OpenManage 9.1.0 - No Storage Controllers Detected

Hi there,

I have a PowerEdge T430 that has suddenly stopped allowing access to the storage section of the openmanage software. No updates have been applied to the system in the interim.

I have tried restarting the DSM SA services, and both powerdrain and resetting the iDRAC using the "i" button. Could anyone offer any further advice?

Hello

I would check the hardware log for any errors related to the storage controller. Also, try a different browser and clear browser cookies, temp files, cache. You can also update the storage controller driver and firmware. If it still did not show correctly then I would uninstall OMSA, restart, install OMSA, restart.

Hello,

Hoping you have been able to get through. But just in case, if you unable to, would you help sharing some inputs below..

If the storage controller is not visible from OMSA there could be several reasons.

Please check in BIOS if the controller is listed. ?

Check in idrac if the controller is listed ?

If you still see issue in controller not detecting in OMSA.

Please upgrade to the latest release i.e OMSA 9.3.0 As the version of OMSA used here is old

Make sure the server has the latest drivers and firmware's installed for PERC controllers https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/poweredge-t430/drivers
