R710 iDRAC6 serial over ssh: connect com2 returns COMMAND NOT RECOGNIZED

Hi, I have successfully configured serial console redirection over ssh several times on various dell servers, but now I am stuck with two R710s. The command is now console, not connect. And this is exactly what is stated in the docs - it is just that I hadn't noticed the change and read 'connect' where 'console' was written. Big thanks to Lars Handrick of Dell Support Germany for having pointed out the change in command name to me.

I have reset the rac to factory defaults using racadm racresetcfg and re-configured from scratch, but the problem persists.
