Repository Manager errors creating the SUU ISO file

Howdy,

I'm trying to use Repo Man to create ISO file so we can update our various systems.  We have servers 6 locations so I run Repo Man 6 times to create a ISo file for the models each location has.  We do this every 6 months and I've never had a problem until now.

On three of the systems it ran fine and created the ISO.  On the other three systems is failed.

Some of them say Error downloading some files.  Some say Error in SUU plugin extraction.

One of them I just downloaded and installed Repo Man today and it's having the problem.  None of the machines are out of space or anything.  Is there any way to find out exactly why it's having problems?

Hello

I would run the export again to see if it still occurs. I just tested and was able to create multiple SUUs. The first one was not successful, but I ran it again and it completed successfully. The issue is likely with file transfer. If you are unable to create the SUU let me know the exact bundle/files you are selecting and I will create an SUU with that bundle to see if there is a problem with the files.

Thanks

From one server, I tried creating the SUU file 4 times and it failed every time.  This was trying to create a package that contained R430, R610, R620, and R630 files.

First time it was downloading Network_Driver_M84PX_WN64_01.35.00.EXE
Second time it was downloading Systems-Management_Application_3H65T_WN64_8.5_A00.EXE
Third it was downloading SAS-Drive_Firmware_JNYXN_WN64_YSFD_A00.EXE
Fourth time it was downloading Systems-Management_Application_3H65T_WN64_8.5_A00.EXE

We normally just create one big ISO file with all the updates for all the models we have so we can just dump it same file on every server and make things easier.

I then tried selecting each model separately and I was able to create 4 individual ISO files without any problems.

After that was done, I tried creating the one, big ISO file and then it worked fine.  Something seemed to just not be working properly during the download with I chose them all at once, even though doing the exact same thing worked just fine in 4 other locations.

Very strange.

So now I'm trying to do them individually from the other server that was having the problems and I'm getting "Failed exporting to SUU format" errors.

Job Name: Export to SUU64

I'm able to create an SUU with the above bundles without issue. This appears to be a network issue. I suggest that you keep trying to download the files. You could also try to download the files in smaller groups like you did previously that worked.

Thanks
