Sharing Problem - Windows 7 64-bit
In Network and Sharing > Advance sharing setting>Password Protected Sharing I save the setting "Turn off password protected sharing" but when I return to the screen password protected sharing is turned on.
I am trying to set up a shared folder for users on my internal work network that does not require a password.
I also noticed that my network users have to continuosly enter their password for the network share after I set up user accounts for them.
Any ideas on how to save the setting "turn off password protected sharing" and is the other issue of not saving logon credentials related??
Thanks

Thanks for posting! Is that client system part of a domain? Things that change back are often caused by GPOs (Global Policies) that are set at the Domain level. If you are not the administrator for your domain, you will need to talk to them.
