What Management Tools to use - R620 running Server 2016

Question

I do not run many physical servers (mostly VMs), but had a need to set up a couple of R620's running Server 2016.  Working fine, but I'd like to take advantage of some monitoring tools such as OMSA, OMSE, ???.  Need to monitor hardware health, firmware updates, etc.  It can run locally only on the servers, or it can run remotely from another workstation (Windows 10). I just need clarification on what components to install for basic monitoring, and where (locally on the R620, or on the remote monitoring workstation, or both?) Thanks.

Hello

You can install on both. OpenManage Server Administrator should be installed on the host operating system of the server. You can install OMSA on a remote system as well. If you install OMSA on a remote system you can input the IP of the server and connect to the instance of OMSA running on the server to get information.
