alert notification to host os not working
Hi
I met some issue receiving hardware event in SUSE OS, we enabled the alert notification in our idrac version 3.32.32.32(Build 11)
And in host OS, I installed omsa 9.1.0, I tried to mimic some error event by using idrac test Event function,
But cannot found any relative log in /var/log/messages.
Is there any steps I miss?

Hello,
Are you looking for iDRAC events(life cycle logs) replication to Host OS log?. Installing iDRAC Service module (iSM) software on host OS will help to achieve it. Replicate Lifecycle Log in OS Log feature in iSM will enable the functionality.
latest version of iSM(iDRAC Service Module) 3.5 for Linux can be downloaded @ https://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=v4689
