iDRAC keyboard input from Linux doesn't work
Hello forum,
we have a blade chassis with the iDRAC7 management system with remote console. I use Linux on my work laptop and have a problem: I can connect to a server's console, but I can't type in the console. The characters are simply not appearing. Keyboard combinations from the "macro" menu, however, DO work (like alt-f1 or ctrl-alt-delete).
The server itself is running Linux. The remote console works OK when accessed from a Windows computer.

What desktop environment and window manager are you using? This will help us narrow down the issue.

In the console menu, try the Pass All Keystrokes option, sometimes that will fix issues like what you are seeing.

I have NO idea why, but this morning all of a sudden it just worked... touch wood :)
(Annoyingly I haven't found the cause of why it didn't work the first time).
Thanks for your time,
