Is OpenManage Server Administrator, and more importantly, the RAC tools installed on the server? If not, you'll need to install them to pass the commands through to the iDRAC.
Can you send me the error message you got while executing the command.
Exporting diagnostics from server is 2 step process. In first step you need to run the diagnostics with below command. system need to be rebooted to run the diagnostics.
racadm diagnostics run -m -r
Note : You can run "racadm help diagnostics" command to get various options supported for "Mode" and "Reboot type"
Once diagnostics is executed successfully you can run "radacm diagnostics export -f report.txt" command to export the report.
If we try to download the diagnostics report without running the diagnostics you will be getting error message "ERROR: RAC1138 : Unable to export the Diagnostics results because the results do not exist."
If you are seeing different behavior than above please ensure racadm sw is installed on the server. Also share iDRAC FW version, Racadm SW version and Linux operating system flavor and version where issue is observed.
