CIM conflicts .
Salutes:..
Well .. to begin.. I have installed IT Assistant 7.1 and OMCC and OMCI on the computer where im going to monitor the servers/pcs, and on the PowerEdge 2850 installed OMSA and OMCI.
Then configured snmp on both ,ran the "Troubleshooting Tool " from It Assistant to verify which components are functioning,.. well
Name Resolution OK
Ping Connectivity OK
Port Connectivity OK
SNMP GET,SET,and Agent software OK
But when i run the CIM Connectivity ,.. with a valid admin privileged Username /pass.. it
answers with "Failed to connect to - Windows Name Space".
I ve tried with local accounts and accounts that are on the DC,with admin privileges, and no luck.
tried the DCOM connectivity test and it went ok.
verified the WMI configuration .. and changed it to use an account within the domain ... nada..
well.. i've verified the documentation .. on how to configure the CIM settings..no luck
umm .. right now what i want to try most is to do some remote flashbios upgrade on the servers
and maybe on the local computers. Well here comes the question.. what am i doing wrong ?
well ill appreciate a lot if anyone could help me with this situation.
thanks .
