KVM 2162DS question
Hi
After I login and try to open a kvm session, I get connection refused. Does this use vnc or rdp? What are the port do I need to open on firewall?
Also how do I update the firmware to the latest and where do I find it?
Thanks!
Paras

Hello
All of this information can be found on the 2162DS support page. The KVM can be configured to use VNC or RDP. The web viewer uses Java. If the connection is refused using the viewer then it is likely blocked by Java security. You will need to adjust Java security settings to allow the connection.

Page 38 of the switch hardware manual has instructions for setting up the Embedded Web Server/On-board Web Interface. There are multiple sections of the hardware manual that have information on the OBWI.
Thanks
