It sounds like you only have the video connected to the server. There should be a 50 pin connector on the switch. That cable should have a VGA and two PS/2 connectors. Does the cable have all of those connectors, and are they all connected to the servers?
No 50pin connector, only a RJ45 to PS2(x2), USB and VGA. The Ethernet side goes onto the KVM and the other end goes onto the server (target machine). the KVM is connected to the KMM via VGA and 1 USB.
I was looking at the wrong switch. The new Avocent switches that we sell are supported by Avocent. It would be best to reach out to them with your issue.
I could not find much information because the support for KMM devices was not provided by us. If you think there is a problem with KMM, I leave the information here for related support channels "https://dell.to/3qxWUnx" and "support.avocent@vertiv.com"
About Remote Console Switch, first check the FW update here please https://dell.to/35TNT0e Yo may find update for FW.
I share the documents I can find for KVM. You can check your setup by reviewing the documents here. There might be something overlooked. For hardware user guide https://dell.to/3sy1zb3
For example, you can take a look at these titles and more. "RCS Quick Setup", "Connecting the RCS Hardware", "Configuring KVM Sessions"
And finally, can you give us some more information? -Can you even see the servers in the software? Can you post a photo? -What do you mean that keyboard and touchpad are not responding? Not responding at all, or maybe the input isn't forwarded to the server after connecting?
Any photos or additional info will help the community to propose solutions for your problem.
The Issie Of Keyboard And Touchpad I Fix it Cuz The Problem Was Caused By Cabling And Now It Work Fine. The Main Problem Is Now The KVM Switch I Thnk Maybe The problem Of Not Appear Any Devices Is From The SIP Module Cable I Used altusen ka7170 For The Connection Between The Server (Dell EMC R740 Operating By Windows Server 2019).
Thanks for sharing your solution. About cabling maybe you can review "Cabling Installation, Maintenance, and Safety Tips" starting pg 178 in hardware user guide. You can also try other ports or another cable if you have it. I'm really not sure either. Maybe it's related to the SIP module cable as you said.
