LCD Panel
Hi, One of our clients would like to have the iDRAC IP Address displayed on the R610 or R710 Front LCD Panel.
Can this be done? They dont want to have to go through LCD menu's. The idea is that if an issue occurs on a Server, any individual can read the iDRAC IP Address and let Tech Support know to which iDRAC to connect quickly.

Press the "check mark" button on the front panel
Select "Setup"
Select "Set Home" (You have to arrow over off the screen to see this selection)
Select "DRAC"
Select "IPv4" or "IPv6"
Confirm save
The IP address will now show in the front LCD.
Here's my example from doing it just now - http://www.twitpic.com/87oe7
If you have OMSA installed on the server you can also use the omconfig command ... ie "omconfig chassis frontpanel config=ipv4idrac"
Hope that helps.
