Nitsuj7,

Have you configured the console actions yet?

This link is to the manual, if you go to section 3 it discusses the configuration of the nodes.

support.dell.com/.../MUMCUG.pdf

Let me know how it goes.

HI

Looks like it was the windows firewall stopping the connection between MUMC and vcenter. Seems to work now.

I also enabled the vCenter Plugin. The plugin shows up in vcenter, but when I go to the Dell MUMC tab in vcenter i get:

"Navigation to the webpage was canceled" in the window. Any Ideas?

Hi.

You could reference this article: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1010030

And also check your firewall is allowing the Dell UPS/MUMC ports to communicate properly:

Protocol Mode/Port DELL MUMC DELL ULNM DELL ULNM with DELL NMC
Shutdown controller
SMTP TCP/25 OUT OUT OUT OUT
DHCP/BOOTP UDP/67 x x X OUT
TFTP UDP/69 OUT OUT OUT IN
HTTP TCP/80 OUT OUT OUT IN
NTP UDP/123 x x x OUT
SNMP UDP/161 OUT OUT OUT IN
SNMP Traps UDP/162 x x x OUT
UNMP UDP/200 IN/OUT IN/OUT IN/OUT x
HTTPS TCP/443 OUT OUT OUT IN
Dell Supervision TCP/4679 IN/OUT IN/OUT IN/OUT x
Dell Notification Broadcast UDP/4679 IN/OUT IN/OUT IN/OUT IN/OUT

Dell Alarms Broadcast UDP/4680 IN IN IN OUT

Hope this helps!
