Open Manage Server Administrator for Oracle Virtual Server v. 3.2.7
Hi All,
Is there a build of Open Manage Server Administrator that can be installed in Oracle Virtual Server v. 3.2.7? I am running Oracle VS on Dell PE R810's and PER820's and would like to be able to install Open Manage Server Administrator on the servers running Oracle Virtual Server. If so, which repository would I make use of? Also, is there a way to get updates for the PE servers, i.e. firmware, bios, drivers, etc., for these servers, directly from a PowerEdge repository?

Hi Eric,
Oracle VM Server is not a validated OS. It uses Xen but is not the same as the RHEL Xen based version or Xenserver. You could try those versions of OMSA and see if they work.

RHEL http://linux.dell.com/repo/hardware/DSU_15.05.00/
For the updates if the RHEL repository doesn’t work you could update using the lifecycle controller during post.
