OpenManage reporting internal error

Hi,

I've searched these forums (and used Google as well) but couldn't find information on this. Through Nagios, OpenManage is giving out this error on two of our servers:

OK - System: 'xxxModel herexxx', SN: 'xxxxxx, Total RAM and number of DIMMs, xxx logical drives, xxx physical drives
INTERNAL ERROR: Use of uninitialized value in string ne at script/check_openmanage line 1641.

This is on two diferent systems, but recently updated to OMSA 7.3.0. Systems are running fine, just wondering if anyone's seen that message before.

Thanks.

Daatwf,

Is OpenManage itself reporting any error internally or are you only seeing this issue under Nagios? Does this only happen with the latest version of OMSA, or does 7.2 function normally?

Let me know what you find.

Hi,

OpenManage itself isn't reporting any issues internally, all green. I was just wondering if it's something between OMSA and Nagios.

Nagios wasn't flagging this before the upgrade to 7.3, however I don't have 7.2 for testing (servers had older versions installed).

Update: Actually, a couple more servers are having that message on Nagios, after having OMSA updated to 7.3

Hi,

Has Dell found a fix for this or a workaround? Or is it still being investigated?

Thanks in advance.
