PE 2950 DRAC 5 keyboard and mouse hang, Visualization problem with IE7

Hello,

I have two 2950 servers running virtual servers under Windows 2008. We have a remote system administrator and we use DRAC 5 remote management card, but DRAC 5 Keyboard and mouse access sometimes does not react any more - only the screen is visible, but is does neither react to keystroke or to "CTRL-ALT-DELTE" action via menu.

DRAC 5 access for remote console only is possible again after rebooting.

I have seen the mouse and keyboard hang intermittently when logging on the DRAC. In the one day, access still works, and when logging on next day, no access possible any mre.

Especially it seems to hang DRAC, when accessing DRAC remote desktop on a new client. Installing DRAC access on a new computer always is a bit cumbersome, as both Kaspersky virus scanner and IE7 first block the scripts for mouse and keyboard, and I sometimes need a few retries until access works.

How can I reset DRAC card mouse and Keyboard access without rebooting?

Another issue: I get an offset between the mouse cursor on my PC and the simulated mouse cursor. The whole screen is shifted right by a few 10 pixels, which makes mouse operation quite exhausting.

In order to still access the servers, I then attach mouse and keyboard to the frontside USB port. Sometimes I need to plug / unplug the optical mouse 10 times until it reacts and the mouse LED comes on. The same is for the keyboard. Is there a special driver / driver update required for front side USB?

Once, I was not able to get mouse and keyboard working at frontside USB any more. I tried with different USB mice and keyboards.

Bios is 2.2.6, DRAC 5 A02 1.33, BMC FW 2.05.

Thank you.
