As I stated in my post I have attempted to setup up. I did manage to locate a dell ftp page listing all the idrac6 releases and no luck. I have tried applying all of them and they all fail in the same manor.
I've tried to update it via the iDRAC GUI, racadm/tftp, through the windows deploy package (.exe executable), and SBUU/SUU repo on the drivers page.
The only error I get is update failed. I can try and apply the update again through iDRAC and give a screenshot but there is no log that lists the actual error at least not one I can find.

FYI server is very long out of warranty.

Use the self extracting exe files from the site you mentioned.
Extract the files and there will be a firmimg.d6 file in there, upload that to through the web gui.
