System Errors eventid:0 within ITA v8.3

Does anyone know how to fix the issue when the following error occurs in IT Assistant v8.3:

Description:
An internal application error occurred while attempting to run the task "Status Poll". If this problem persists, please contact technical support.

It seems to be related to when the remote database gets moved within its database cluster. Restarting the 2 DSM services doesn't help and the only way I've known to clear these events is to resatart the system.
