" Commands" in startup
Greetings:
Is there a glossary of all of the " F commands" for Dell servers. e.g. F10., F12, etc? Also, is there a command list for functions i.e. Ctrl + E for the dell remote access card? Finally do the server commands do the same things with a desktop or laptop?
Advice sought

Thanks for posting! I don't think there is a glossary of such things, but that is mostly because the keystrokes change from one system to the next. I think the only common ones are F10 for the utility partition and F2 for the BIOS. After that, you will see all the keyboard commands on the screen during POST. Here are a couple off the top of my head.
Most PERC controllers are Ctrl+M, a few of the older PERC 3's are Ctrl+A, the PERC 5's are Ctrl+R.
Some of the SCSI controllers are Ctrl+A too, I think.
DRAC 4's and older are Ctrl+D, the DRAC 5's are Ctrl+E.
Boot sequence is F11 or F12.
It is a little confusing, I think it is best to just watch the screen. You may have to make a couple passes to catch the faster systems.
