After Dell Update lost ability to use sign-in options
I believe the DELL security updates have killed the ability to log into windows with my microsoft account using a PIN and or a Picture ID.
My guess is that these features are normally ON for machines NOT joined to a domain but off for those that are joined to a Domain and one of these recent upgrades missed that fact but that is a guess
It used to work with a PIN and a PICTURE login just fine and now it doesn't

What is the best way to get this feature back on my Win 8 Venue Pro tablet

I experienced the same issue when I installed the same DDP Security items. I first uninstalled Client Security Framework, then Security Tools Authentication, then Security Tools through Windows Programs and Features. This took care of my Dell biometrics authentication issue.
