Dell Cast for Windows tablet

Hi,

I have a Dell Venue 8 Pro 3845 tablet and and am wondering if the Dell Cast is supported.

There are reviews all over the internet that say it will however I have found nothing in the Dell website to suggest that it does work other than a video that appears to show someone using it with Windows.

Please inform me as to whether or when it might work so I do not waste time and money on something that is a promise that may never be.
